The Douciane LED Cap directly impacts the hair life cycle through photobiomodulation, a light therapy technology combining two complementary wavelengths: red at 660 nm, which stimulates scalp microcirculation and follicle activity, and near-infrared at 850 nm, which penetrates deeper to the hair bulb to restart cellular energy production (ATP). Together, these two wavelengths extend the hair growth phase (anagen phase), slow down hair loss, and promote denser and thicker regrowth.
The cap emits this light in pulsed mode, which allows for more effective tissue penetration than continuous light, while limiting heat buildup. An integrated timer automatically ends the session once the recommended duration has elapsed, for simple and unsupervised use.
