A vision born from well-being and science
It all started with a simple observation: hair loss affects more and more people, young and old, and often represents much more than an aesthetic problem; it is a question of confidence, balance, and personal well-being.
We observed costly, invasive, or ineffective long-term solutions around us. We then decided to explore a gentler, more natural and sustainable approach, guided by scientific advances in photobiomodulation.

The meeting of technology and scalp care
It was during this period that we discovered research on red and infrared light, and its ability to stimulate cellular activity, reactivate dormant follicles and promote hair regrowth.
We surrounded ourselves with researchers, biomedical engineers, and scalp specialists to design a device that is both effective, safe, and pleasant to use. Together, we worked on the most ergonomic format, compatible with everyday life, enabling effective and discreet therapy that integrates naturally into daily routines.
From this collaboration came the Douciane LED cap, inspired by professional protocols, but accessible to all.

My name is Sarah, and I founded Douciane after experiencing significant hair loss myself. At that time, I didn't understand why my hair kept falling out. I lost my self-confidence, finding hair on my pillow, on the floor, in the shower day after day... After a lot of research, I discovered the role of DHT, a hormone responsible for the progressive suffocation of hair follicles.
I tried several solutions: treatments, supplements, therapies, but nothing worked in the long term. It was through researching scientific studies on red light that I discovered LED therapy, a natural method that stimulates cell regeneration and reactivates hair follicles.
The results were so visible on me that I decided to go further: to make this technology accessible to everyone, through a safe, effective and easy-to-use device for everyday use.
