5 signes que vous perdez vos cheveux plus vite que la normale

5 signs you're losing hair faster than normal

Losing between 50 and 100 hairs per day is considered normal. Beyond that, or in the presence of certain visual signs, it may be useful to react sooner. Here are 5 indicators to watch out for.

1. A gradually widening part

If your hair part seems wider than it did a few months ago, this may indicate a decrease in scalp density.

2. More hair in your brush or shower drain

A noticeable and lasting increase (over several weeks) in the amount of hair found after brushing or washing is worth observing.

3. A more visible scalp in bright light

Take a photo of your scalp every month, under the same lighting: this is often the most reliable way to spot gradual changes that are difficult to notice day-to-day.

4. Thinner hair to the touch

Before falling out, weakened hair tends to thin. If your hair as a whole feels less thick or less dense in volume, this is a signal to take into account.

5. Hair loss that persists beyond 3 months

Seasonal hair loss usually lasts a few weeks (often in autumn or spring). If the hair loss continues without slowing down, it may be relevant to adapt your hair care routine and, if in doubt, to speak to a healthcare professional.

What to do if you recognize these signs?

Adopting a regular care routine early on (including the complementary use of an LED cap) can be part of a comprehensive approach, alongside a healthy lifestyle. No solution guarantees the same result for everyone, as the causes of hair loss are numerous (genetics, hormonal, stress, seasonal).
